Hi ...okay Melissa, I'm updating my blog ;)!! Since I last wrote our weather has warmed up dramatically, now I'm complaining cause it's too warm. It's been around 0 the last couple of days making the roads extremely slippery. Went to Burns Lake (old home town) to sell a couple of my snow mobiles and the road west of here for about 50km "wasn't nice"!! Two different accidents and black ice! Now I only have one machine left and if this snow keeps up and the machine doesn't sell I'm thinking of bringing it here to play some on!! Do love snow mobiling too! I'm off to Victoria tonight (flying) and Matthew and the hockey team left this morning at 6am on the charter bus. Hope they don't rush trying to catch that ferry for Victoria it was trying to rain when they were leaving! :( I'm staying with my friend that used to live in Burns Lake so should be a fun weekend. It'll be a ladies time, cause her husband is in Burns Lake right now, and he stays at my house in Burns. He's a Doctor and works part time (2 weeks/month) in Burns, sharing the practice with another Doctor there. Works out great for us all cause I still have a lot of my stuff in Burns, and this way someone is in my place incase anything should happen. Neighbours watch it when he's not there for the other 2 weeks of the month! The snow banks in Burns are touching the roof of my place, from where they plow my driveway, it's unreal and a lot of trees, willows are broken because of the 4' snowfall they got in October!! Would've like to see that but....wouldn't have liked to be "snowed" in, even snow mobiling wasn't great because of the brush in the way! Driving was "impossible" for afew days too, the entire town was shut down for 2 days and some were without power for 13 days!!
I've got a part time job now out at the ski club (cross country) working inside selling day passes or rental equipment, and other days helping coach the school program to make it more enjoyable and so they don't get lost out there, lots of trails and so inter connected, easy to loose yourself! Usually only 2-4 hours per day and I don't go every day :) Perfect!
Will update after we return from the hockey in Victoria, hope our boys do well. They are on the Bantam AAA team which are 13-14 year olds.
Will have to try and add afew photo's next time, but next time :)
Have a great week! :)
